POOCHIE'S PLACE
STARTED WITH
HER.
Poochie’s Place was named in honor of Enid “Poochie” Edmond, Dawn’s mother—a woman remembered for her compassion, empathy and kindness.
Poochie’s Place represents the feeling of gathering with the people you love. A place to laugh, eat, have a drink, share stories and simply talk.
That spirit became the foundation for a podcast hosted by Dawn Monique Edmond and her daughter, Da’Monique “Mo” Higgs—two generations bringing their own perspectives to conversations about family, relationships, life and everything in between.
The name honors her. The conversations carry her spirit forward.
TWO GENERATIONS
Dawn and Mo don’t always see things the same way—and that’s the point.
As mother and daughter from two different generations, they bring different experiences, opinions and perspectives to the table. Sometimes they agree. Sometimes they don’t. But the conversation is always real.
From family and relationships to entertainment, life and the situations we all find ourselves trying to figure out, Poochie’s Place creates room for honest conversation—with plenty of laughter along the way.
